We focus on 3 key elements in our Men's Ministry, Connect/Grow/Serve, focusing on being Godly husbands, father's and businessmen.  We accomplish this through multiple strategic ministry opportunities:  Connect with other like-minded men striving to be more Christ-like, through quarterly men's breakfast, men's night out, attending sporting events, and other fellowship opportunities to build strong, lasting relationships with men.  Ecclesiastes 4:12, Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.  A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.)  Grow in your spiritual walk through small group studies and attending men's events that provide encouragement and personal accountability to achieve the goal of Godliness and integrity in our daily lives.  (Proverbs 27:17, As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another).  Serve God by using your gifts and talents to serve others, opportunities include getting together to help do yard work, home repairs, etc. for those who need assistance, providing firewood for our shut-ins and assist those with special needs, and wherever else we can help.  (Matthew 25:40,..."Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.')

 We visit local rest homes on the first and third Saturday of each month at 2:00pm.  We get together to sing songs of worship, to visit those who are bedridden, and provide fellowship.  See Carmen Hutchins.

    The purpose of the Helps Ministry is to identify and meet the needs that arise in our church family. Birth, death, injury, a family or job crisis often trigger needs that can easily and best be met by others within the body of Christ. The ministry provides an opportunity for you to reach out to your brothers and sisters in a tangible way.
   Please look at the choices below and tell Vic Pickard where you might be able to help. You will only be called on occasionally as the needs arise.

   The WMU provides for those in need through monthly mission projects. We have just finished up our food for Iraq project. As part of an ongoing project, we provide bottled water for the Duke Children's Bone Marrow Transplant Unit (Please leave at the table in the church foyer).

   The purpose of the tape ministry is to provide copies of sermons for those who don't get the chance to come to services at Ebenezer or for those who have missed a service. You may pick up a copy of each sermon in the church foyer.
